Tang's Chinese Restaurant
"12/06/2021: Amazing food, little pricier but worth it as it's a small business!. Plenty of options to choose from hardcore vegan to trying out vegan options!. 05/06/2021: Delicious food, lovely service, great ethos, pretty decour."
"Serving plant based burgers and hot dogs in Bournemouth, the restaurant is open Wednesday to Sunday from 12pm. The restaurant welcomes well behaved dogs on leads. Choose plant based burgers including the Classic burger."
"02/05/2021: Not much to do in Brockenhurst bar passing through, stock up on groceries / food (and also see the Ford) but this bakery is worth the visit- tasty baked breakfast goods, sausage rolls & doughnuts amongst range of other food. 25/01/2021: It surprises me that in 2021 disability discrimination is still a thing, however the young lady serving today wasn't shy when it came to displaying some of the most archaic and ignorant behaviour I've witnessed in a long time.To cut a long story short I suffer with a severe respiratory disease which I recently underwent surgery for, this makes what should be a simple task like breathing not so easy and hence I am legally exempt from wearing a mask. To tell someone you have a disability is one thing, but to then be humiliated and treated like a liar is an absolute disgrace and you should be ashamed as a business."
"Unfortunately Westbourne tandoori was closed and couldn't order from them. 02/03/2021: During the lockdowns we have been having the occasional meals delivered from various restaurants.A couple of weeks ago we decided to give Mint Restaurant at Ashley Cross a try. We had eaten there before during better times and had enjoyed a nice meal with friends, but sometimes delivered food does not live up to expectations. However, this was by no means the case here.My wife nearly always eats the same thing, Chicken Tikka Biryani.Usually I am more adventurous. For me I ordered the Duck Ceylon, Tarka Dahl and two tandoori roti. This, for both of us was a good choice. The portions were huge and easily enough for us to finish it off for dinner the next evening.Jean’s rice was nicely cooked, not at all “oily” as it can be."

"From Cornwall to Portsmouth, think award-winning burgers, hand cut fries and, of course, collaborations with a variety of breweries. Prime cut or plant-based, Hub Box is the perfect place for you to meet and eat. Located in Gunwharf Quays with views of Portsmouth Harbour and the grand Spinnaker Tower, Hub Box brings a fresh, street food style dining experience."
"Not the most apt name for a boozy student night or perhaps it’s ironic, but Sobar Tueday’s are very well regarded across the city. Specialising in thrifty vodka shots and definitely a step up from Jester’s in terms of music, Sobar is a student night classic. This venue has a huge outdoor area making it perfect for the summer month’s, but this is open in the winter too, as its heaters and ample seating area make it perfect for revelry at any time of the year."
"The third Fuller’s Pub’s inclusion on this list, the White Star Tavern is a luxury boutique hotel in Southampton. Located close to the Southampton cruise terminal, the White Star Tavern offers exclusive rooms that will blow your mind away. Its location at the heart of the bustling city will allow you to experience the art, culture, sights, and nightlife of Southampton firsthand."
"Just across the water from Portsmouth in Gosport is the Royal Navy Submarine Museum. Highlights include Britain's first submarine, Holland I, launched in 1901, along with HMS Alliance, launched just after the close of WWII. Other notable displays include a German WWII-era mini submarine, an Italian human torpedo, along with weaponry and many other fascinating interactive exhibits dealing with life underwater in a submarine."
"Submarine Museaum in Portsmouth has everything you need for an adventure!. This museum is all about submarines and they take you back in time to Alexander the Great and other ancient heroes who thought about winning wars through underwater approaches!. You can even go onboard a WWII submarine and find out what it was like leagues under the sea and Read more…"
"This is one of two attractions based outside of the main dockyard area. It centres on HMS Alliance which is located in nearby Gosport. HMS Alliance is the only British submarine from World War II that remains."
"Perhaps this one is a little controversial but the secret to enjoying a Jesters night out is to keep your expectations low and lean into the awfulness of it all. This is a nightclub that has (rightfully) earned its place on the ‘Worst Night Clubs in the UK’ list as a result of its sticky walls and floors, four corners challenge, urine cup stacks and growth of mushrooms in the mens toilet. The cubicle in the mens has no door and there’s one in the ladies with two toilets in a single cubicle (a true bonding experience)."
"The start of the week is perhaps the pinnacle when out clubbing in Southampton as it is the highlight of the week at the most infamous. Many cities have a club that is synonymous with the scene, think Berghain or Space, and this is definitely the case with Jester’s. Speak to any former Southampton students and they are likely to rave about this student night, as cheesy as the setlists and drinks deals may be."
