Best Shops in Barcelona - Barcelona shopping Guide
"This all vegan bar serves an enormous range of beers from all over the world, as well as a few vegan burgers and croissants or other cakes. The burgers are tasty if a little dry, but quite substantial. There is a piano for guests to play if they wish, but unfortunately no cats as the name might imply."
"At Cat Bar, there are no cats, but you can certainly expect a cat-themed atmosphere. This small vegan beer and burger bar offers a customizable menu, with a variety of vegan burgers, tasty patatas bravas and delicious sauces, along with a great selection of local Spanish and Catalan beers."
"The 'little champagne' of the name refers to the house cava, which is a fairly ordinary but dirt-cheap number, served in coupe glasses to a lively clientele that blends inquisitive tourists with locals who’ve been coming here for decades. El Xampanyet is no secret, and drinkers spill out on to the street even on relatively quiet nights. But if you can squeeze in, you'll find a bright, tiled bar with traditional wineskins hanging from the ceiling and a selection of simple tapas along the bar."
"An institution in El Born, El Xampanyet has been around for over 90 years, yet it remains cosy and family-owned. This is the place for 3-euro cava and traditional tapas, and you’ll meet the entire family while at it. Still, it’s not the price that makes this one of the best trendy restaurants Barcelona – it’s the vibe."
"El Xampanyet is a rustic and authentic tapas and cava bar Barcelona owned by the same family since the 1930's. Everything a great tapas bar should be. Small, but very popular and well known with deliciou ...Read More..."
"As it is the first craft beer bar I stumbled on to I must say that this is my favorite place to enjoy a good craft beer in Barcelona. As I walked into this bar I directly noticed the cool designed ceiling which is covered in wooden sticks. The bar offers 30 beers on tap which can be found on a screen which can change per day."
"Biercab features some super stylish high-end design and about a million taps. Okay, maybe not a million, but there are around 30 to choose from. This place weighs in with a balance of beer and great food to take a rightful spot as one of the best places for craft beer in Barcelona."
"30 beer on tab simultaneously with an extensive (really extensive) beer menu where you can find lots of Spanish and Catalan beers. The place is really beautiful and you can also see on their TV screens when and which new keg is being tapped. Look at all those tabs!"
"Bar El Velódromo is a true gem and a personal favorite situated in Eixample. Large windows, chrome and marble highlight the art deco interior. Velodromo was known historially as a popular meeting place for intellectuals and it is said that civil war plots were hatched within its walls."
"Bar Velódromo is a big, high-ceilinged, historic, classic and beloved Parisian style brasserie and bistro in the Eixample area of Barcelona. Popular with Catalan locals of all ages, mostly the high brow crowd, but ...Read More..."
"Also located just off La Rambla in the Gothic Quarter is Kaelderkold. Its unassuming front means it’s pretty easy to pass by without noticing, but don’t let its low key appearance fool you – Kaelderkold is the real deal. Laid-back and totally beer-focused, this brewpub has over five years experience pouring beer after beer from their 18 taps and expertly quenching their customers’ thirsts."
"Behind this name many of us find tongue-twistingly foreign – it literally means 'cold basement' – is a desire to bring the spirit of Denmark to La Rambla. After all, the Scandinavian country is home to prized breweries such as Mikkeller, Amager and To Øl. Not only does Kælderkold boast 15 quality taps, this small bar was a pioneer in implementing a menu of beer cocktails."
"Cool bar where they have 15 taps sorted into 3 groups according to their specific temperature needs. The selection includes Imperial Ipa, Black Ale, Trippelbock and Premium Lagers. Spoiled beers, I know."
"In record time, Carrer del Parlament has transformed into Catalunya's own Primrose Hill. On a Sunday morning, assorted hipsters will be sipping on the city's trademark aperitif, the wildly fashionable vermut – red vermouth with a splash of soda, green olive and a slice of orange. Spearheading this change in the fortunes of this previously frankly forgettable neighbourhood is the Bar Calders, which serves a huge selection of wines, as well as tapas, and has a terrace that's not quite roadside and therefore a favourite with parents."
"A Barcelona staple since 2006, Pim Pam Burger has become one of THE places to go for a juicy, 'American Style' burger. The restaurants, slow-cooked fast food philsophy has helped accelerate its popularity amongst locals and tourists alike. Pim Pam uses high-quality, extremely fresh ingredients and has a wide range of unique recipes as well as toppings."
"€ | Area: El Born|Calle Sabateret 4| Metro: Arc de Triomf (L1) |Website. It’s not really a secret anymore – they have the best fries in Barcelona. The open kitchen allows you to watch them hand-cut the potatoes and press the mince into patties."
"Shanghai 1930 is chinese cuisine restaurant in Barcelona with my kowloon of Aribau Street which opened in 1979. Hopefully some of you got to know him and still..."
"Picasso Museum — While I’m not a huge fan of most of Picasso’s later work, with over 3,000 pieces of art, this museum has a lot to see, and even I was happy. The Gothic Cathedral — Located in the heart of the Barri Gotic, this Gothic cathedral was built on top of an 11th-century church. You can take an elevator up to the roof for sweeping views of the surrounding historic area."
"This two-hour tour, led by an expert local guide will take you through Pablo Picasso’s favorite spots. See Llotja Mar which is the art school where he studied. Stop at Els Quatre Gats café where he interacted with other artists."

"Healthy Barcelonians can't get enough of Honest Greens' "eat real food" concept. Honest Greens has been a revelation since it arrived in Barcelona in 2018. Its “chef-driven, healthy food” concept is not only good for you, it tastes amazing and is affordable too."
