"Surrounded by lovely New Forest scenery, the Fleur De Lys is set within the small village of Pilley a few miles from Lymington. It has an amazing, exceptional garden with a water well which is very relaxing and peaceful. The pub, which is the New Forest's oldest pub, will reopen on Saturday, July 4, for drinks only, and the staff are aiming to have a food service up and running by the following Saturday, July 11, which will be made up of a reduced menu."
"Not only is this one of the best New Forest pubs, it’s also the oldest one in town. Fleur de Lys served its first mouth-watering pint of beer in 1096 and has a traceable list of landlords that begins in 1498. Also known as the Grand Old Lady of the Forest, this pub has a very rustic exterior with a thick thatched roof and a lovely, welcoming interior."

"In the southwest corner of Chichester’s wall circuit is a charming garden, looked after by Chichester District Council but not in the register or parks and gardens. You can get in via the Bishop’s Palace Cannon Gate on Canon Lane to be dazzled by immaculate formal flowerbeds against the evocative backdrop of the old walls. The arboretum has some 100 exotic and rare trees, while there’s an Alpine garden, a wildlife garden and a rose pergola entwined with clematis, honeysuckle and climbing roses."
"If you fancy the best bottomless brunch in Portsmouth, Monty’s might be the place for you!. It’s a true taste of Portsmouth: not only does the bar and restaurant use food sourced from local suppliers, but it also sources locally-made furniture and art for its interior. Enjoy bottomless Prosecco or Elderflower fizz with your Eggs Florentine, a stone’s throw away from the seaside."
