"A really child friendly beach located to the north part of Newquay town. It’s a small river estuary which means there is always plenty of sand for castle building and burying dad!. Not much surfing happens here as it’s very sheltered from the swell, but it’s still worth a visit, especially if you are looking for idyllic beach views with a pub within walking distance!"

"Located just south of the village is the St Materiana’s Church, which is thought to have been built in the 500’s!. Obviously it’s changed quite a lot since then. It’s a beautiful and historic building and offers some fabulous views back to the village."

"17/05/2021: We have been eating at holmbush for many years but so annoying that our first meal out after lockdown was so disappointing. The menu has changed, food is no longer homemade and all bought in but the prices have increased. The lasagne was one of my favourite dishes but has gone up but no longer includes chips and is now just a bought in one."

"Lots of places say they are “on the beach” when they mean they are very close to the beach. When Cargo Coffee say they are on the beach they mean it. Situated on Crantock beach just a short walk from the national trust carpark."
