"This sandy beach is located just outside Torquay’s shopping centre, being part of the English Riviera; it lives up to its name with some beautiful views. Being so close to the town centre, it is within easy reach of anyone staying in Torquay, just half an hour walk from the hotel, with a very easy slope down to the sand & being served by local cafes & shops. This is the main beach for Torquay, so is served well by the 12 bus."
"This is a sandy, rocky beach, located in a delightful little cove that has lots of rock pools at low tide & some excellent views of the rugged coastline. Well within reach of Torquay, just a 15 minute car journey from our hotel, there is a small ‘pay & display’ car park or the no.85 bus stops nearby on the main Teignmouth road. The surrounding countryside is beautiful, with some lovely thatched cottages & pub."
"Maidencombe beach is further along the coast path from Watcombe Beach and towards Shaldon. Depending on which path you take (higher or lower) the walk will take you about an hour from Lilycot holiday home. The higher path is the quickest, as the lower path is up and down route which is quite hectic in places."
"14 Century Award Winning Country Pub on the doorstep of

"27/02/2021: This Chinese takeaway in my opinion was the best in Exeter until today!!. I phoned for a delivery at 6.30pm and it hadn't arrived by 8pm so I called again for them to say they were busy but my order would take another 30 minutes but unfortunately by 9pm it still hadn't arrived!!. Fast-food don't make me laugh."
