Your guide to the best pancakes in Brighton
"Down on York Place, this unsung hero and family run cafe has been going about its business quietly for 9 years. The coffee is roasted locally in Littlehampton and the cafe even has its own ‘Moksha blend’, which can be bought to drink in, or as beans to take out. The Huevos Benedictos breakfast is one of my favourites too."
"These guys know how to pull out all the stops when it comes to their pancakes. Expect deliciously fluffy American style cakes accompanied with your choice of banana and toffee sauce, blueberry and maple syrup or free-range bacon. Shrove Tuesday – completed it mate."
"Self acclaimed as having “Brighton’s Best Brunch”, Moksha Cafe has been called the best place to buy a Full English. This Family Run Cafe has a strong focus on ethically sourced ingredients and their own unique blend of coffee. A must visit for foodies."

Right in the heart of Brunswick Town, this large restaurant will be happy to serve you with passion a delicious dish off their breakfast menu. "Six are here to offer you an indulgent bottomless brunch at one of Brighton’s very best venues. It’s available Friday to Sunday as well as bank holiday Mondays between 10 and 3, so there’s absolutely loads of opportunity for you to get booked in. This one is £22 per person plus the price of your brunch dish."
"This is one of the best places to grab an Instagram photo in Brighton. Six is a natural eatery, specialising in healthy food, organic coffee and tasty cocktails. The interior is full of delicate and quirky accessories, and the food is to die for..."
"Nestled in Brighton's beachfront arches, this suave and sustainable spot also runs Brighton's largest - and only - organic coffee roastery. Nosh on fresh crab and avocado benedict or Beirut breakfast - comprised of of organic poached eggs, beetroot tahini, roasted aubergine and za'atar focaccia."

"This hip spot brings the classic burger joint to a whole new level. Lucky Beach has consistently been on best burger lists for years now and it’s easy to see why. They make a great original burger with plenty of toppings and choices."
"For a cheap and cheerful start to your day, head to Breakfast at Tiffany’s where you won’t have to break the bank in order to fill up and fuel yourself for the day. Luckily for you, if you get out of bed later than normal their breakfast dishes are available all day long, so you don’t have to rush about to get a proper breakfast in. They have all the typical meaty options such as The Gut Buster (a full English breakfast) along with vegan and vegetarian options too."
"In most pizza parlours, the vegan option means simply removing the cheese, which is a little like ice cream with no cream: it kind of defeats the point, and nobody wants to eat it. The first plant-based pizzeria to open in the UK, Purezza’s plant pioneers created their mozzarella using brown rice from – where else?. – Italy, and went on to create alternative ricotta, coconut and cashew cheese, too."
"The Brighton Fishing Museum is centrally located on Brighton’s seafront, right where Brighton’s fishing industry has been active for centuries – in fact, it still is today. Brighton’s fishermen bring in freshly caught fish and shellfish that are used by the many excellent seafood restaurants in the area. First opened in 1992, the Fishing Museum both highlights Brighton’s long-standing history in the fishing industry and draws a connection to today’s situation."

"From Portsmouth, you can reach both Fishbourne and Ryde and the reality is that either is a viable option depending on the location of your accommodation on the island. Either way, the journey takes approximately 45 minutes and ferries depart every half hour. If you would rather get across to the Isle of Wight in the shortest amount of time possible, Lymington will likely be your port of call given that you can make the crossing in under 35 minutes. Wightlink also services this port and although it may not have the same glamour as Southampton or Portsmouth, it is certainly a viable choice given that it offers the shortest ferry route."
"On the southwestern edge of Chichester sits the largest Roman residence unearthed in Britain. The Fishbourne Roman Palace is also remarkable for its age, dating to AD 75, just three decades after the Roman Conquest of Britain. The palace was excavated in the 1960s, and was revealed to be about the same size as Nero’s Golden House in Rome."
"This park gets lively when it celebrates the annual festival, as people of all ages come together to celebrate over a few too many drinks. This is arguably the most narrow park in Brighton, running over a straight strip of land. It also has the nickname of ‘The Patch’ by locals, which is why it now has the festival named PatchFest."
