"Lime Wood’s afternoon tea includes a selection of finger sandwiches, homemade scones, clotted cream and strawberry jam and sticky eclairs, with your choice of tea. Plus choose a big slice of one of the homemade cakes, and tuck into some of the daily pick and mix treats. Perfect to pair up with a glass of fizz or a cup of Lime Wood blend."
"With its celeb-speckled spa, haute interior, and the surrounding fecund forest nestling in at every opportunity, Lime Wood Hotel is a sybaritic affair. In keeping, its restaurant is “led” by chef-legend Angela Hartnett, and Luke Holder. Small plates hop off the pass all day."
"Relaxed luxury and gourmet dining in the heart of the New Forest near Lyndhurst. Angela Hartnett and Lime Wood’s Luke Holder, with their team, create locally sourced Italian dishes with a respectful nod to the seasons. Lyndhurst, Hampshire"
"There may be a whole litter of Pigs, but this is the original. Expect a turn-of-the-century, ivy-covered manor house two miles east of Brockenhurst where inside you’ll find rustic-chic country decor, laid-back staff and lashings of country ephemera (old armchairs, antique clocks, oil paintings and a library of books on rural subjects). Rooms range from cosy to spacious; either in the main house or one of the handsome lodges and cabins dotted around the grounds (we particularly liked Bert’s Box, with its floor-to-ceiling windows)."
"26/05/2021: Not surprisingly it was busy (post lockdown) as we sat down for dinner towards the end of the evening. Beating in mind the diner numbers the staff were stretched but coped until late on when even though few diners were now left, the service levels dropped a lot.Food was good but not quite very good. All in all a pleasant dinner in a worthwhile spot. 23/05/2021: The Pig is a beautifully decorated restaurant, with excellent food and brilliant service."
"The Pig's creative chefs devise menus by the 'micro-season'; they change hourly depending on what's been found when foraging or in the hotel's kitchen garden."
"Bistro on the Beach can be found nestled below the slopes off Southbourne Coast Road, right on the promenade and has stunning sea views from every table. The restaurant is fully dog friendly and open for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. Or you can enjoy a drink after a walk along the beach with a great view."

"Choose from our menu of delicious Chinese takeaway food from Yum Yum Oriental in Parkstone; Simply order online, sit back and enjoy!"
"We were really looking forward to the Chinese meal but were so disappointed. We had a good variety of food but all of it was really bland. Looked ok but no taste, sadly, even the crispy duck was boring."
"14/02/2021: Needed a pressie for valentines for my hubby and realised this restaurant was doing delivery for we ordered rack of ribs and durban curry and it was delivered on time and piping hot. It was delicious and a great way to celebrate in these unusual times. Cant wait to go back there when they re open."
