"21/05/2021: We sat outside on a very wet day as it was the only table left. under cover of canopy. Whilst eating food , the canopy went in every few minutes so we all got soaking wet as did our food, which was very poor to begin with."
"10/06/2021: Situated just outside the market square of Alnwick with both in and outdoor seating. Offers veggie, vegan and meat options so something for everyone, which is perfect for my family as I am vegan, my mum is veggie and my dad is a meat eater. I got the stuffed peppers, vegan option, which was delicious and full of flavour but not very filling."

"Wonderful chocolates, to treat yourself, or wrapped individually for you to take away for a gift. Excellent Italian coffee and Hot Chocolate, Tea and cold drinks."
"17/04/2021: Best coffee in Alnwick and amazingly tasty cakes!. Friendly service from the owner which always is happy to serve you. Very reasonable priced, not expensive at all."
"Alnwick Castle is often referred to as the ‘Windsor Castle of the North’ in tourism literature on account of its size and imposing buildings. Like Windsor, it’s home to royalty; well, Geordie royalty at least. The Duke and Duchess of Northumberland are historically one of the most powerful aristocratic families in England; they own huge amounts of land and property, including this almighty fortress."
"No trip to Northumberland would be complete without a visit to Alnwick Castle. It’s over 1,000 years old and is known for its rich history and glorious architecture. Often called the “Windsor of the North,” it’s home of the Duke of Northumberland’s family, making it the second largest occupied castle in England."
"Alnwick Castle is the ancestral home of the powerful Percy family. The castle is of Norman origin but was restored in the Victorian period. The interiors are a fascinating mix of a medieval fortress and a sumptuous Victorian stately home, with Italianate interiors in High Renaissance style."
"The Herb Garden lives up to its name with a wall of barrel-like cylinders where herbs and salad greens grow under glowing lights. Its 17 different pizza varieties include two calzoni; on weekends it serves... Gastropub in Newcastle-upon-Tyne"

"This pub, once known as Ye Old Cross, is over 200 years old, with the building itself believed to have been built in the 17th century. The bottles in question lie sealed between two windows, untouched for two centuries due to an apparent curse. The last person to touch them was the original innkeeper, who immediately dropped dead."
"On Narrowgate is a pub with an unusual name, The Dirty Bottles. It was formerly known as Ye Old Cross Inn and was built in the 17th century. The odd name comes from centuries-old bottles standing in a bow window."
"Was there the 1st week after lockdown levels decreased in May 2021. The venue had good Covid management in place, with staff making sure visitors followed them for the safety of all. The food was really tasty."
