Boscombe’s Chine Gardens are slightly less busy than the Lower Gardens, Central Gardens and Upper Gardens, so they’re a great place to escape the crowds. They’re also a wildlife habitat, and there’s a wildlife quiz trail where you can learn more about the park’s local inhabitants."

"Maumbury Rings in Dorchester is the site of a large Neolithic henge created around 5,000 years ago. While its origins are unclear, historians have discovered that it was later repurposed by the Romans as an amphitheatre. Hosting 10,000 strong, the henge was used for Roman ‘entertainment’ – namely gladiator fights and executions."
