"Kimberley's Alice in Wonderland themed tearoom is full of fun and delicious things to eat. Everyone should have a Madhatters' scone and don one of the crazy hats at some point in their life. Rebecca Goldthorpe will be paying the cafe, in St James Street, a visit with one purpose in mind."
"Finally you'll be able to sit down and eat a burger at the Fat Hippo, one of the restaurants to open slap bang in the middle of lockdown. Burger lovers have been able to get a takeaway from the restaurant in Broad Street, Hockley, since it opened in December 2020, but from April 12 there will be outdoor dining. In front of the restaurant will be seating for 36 people and the full menu - burgers, fries, sides and desserts - will be served."

"The Vietnamese restaurant opened its outside seating area at the end of April but has yet to welcome customers inside for the full experience of traditional and street food in Nottingham city centre. What used to be Martin & Co on the corner of Friar Lane and Maid Marian Way has been revamped and given a vibrant, colourful new look. The menu kicks off with breakfast - a skillet with steak, pate, egg, salted shredded pork, onions and bread; meatballs, bamboo shoots and noodle soup and a Banh Mi, a baguette with pork, pate, cucumber and sour carrot."
"One of the best photography spots in Nottingham is the Wollaton Park. There are deer walking around there (in a special section) and if you bring a good zoom lens, you can take some incredible shots, especially in Autumn. As we visited Nottingham in May, it was also very nice, green and pretty and I took a lot of photos in Wollaton Park."
"Wollaton Hall is an Elizabethan Manor with huge gardens and is a short bus ride from the city centre. Inside the house is a stuffed animal exhibit (quite creepy but fascinating) and the gardens and lake are a perfect location for a long romantic walk or even a picnic."
"Whilst the facilities at Holme Pierrepont Country Park like Skyrail and Lagoon Wipeout will be closed from 5th November I’m so pleased we can still enjoy this outdoor space. It’s perfect for walks and family bike rides, especially around the rowing lake. My kids particularly enjoy freewheeling down the hills on their bikes."
