in Eastbourne, England: The Best Nature & Parks
"If you’re after a classic park for some playtime for the kids and a nice walk, then Shinewater Park is going to tick your boxes!. Sure, it’s not one of the most exciting things to do in Eastbourne… But it’s good to know where the nice parks are in town, so you can fall back on them if other plans fall through!"
"This modern and airy Arts and Crafts-era former warehouse can make a nice change from the low beams and crooked staircases that characterise many of Rye’s eateries. The open kitchen serves up the freshest fish and seafood, including rock oysters, Hastings crab and Rye Bay fish stew. 17 Tower Street, Rye TN31 7AT"
"Set in a former warehouse, Webbe’s is open and airy – a far cry from the usual wooden beams and spiral staircases of this half-timbered house covered town. Watch the chefs through the open kitchen as they cook up rock oysters, sea bass and more fresh seafood."
"28/05/2021: We visited Hastings for the day whilst on holiday in Eastbourne .We searched trip advisor for the no 1 fish and chip shop/restaurant so decided to go here .Staff were friendly and food was ok we asked for Haddock .We come from a fishing town and family fishing background and we have our locally caught haddock every week so we know our fish .Unfortunately we are certain we didn’t get haddock .We didn’t say as didn’t want to cause a scene .It was nice but not what we asked for .I know most people wouldn’t know but as we are from a fishing back ground we did .So although it was nice we were disappointed. 17/05/2021: Very friendly from the start very helpful and delicious food would recommend this place to anyone looking for tasty food all locally sourced!!"
