"On Holes Bay at the very north of Poole Harbour is a country park in 130 acres, with a Grade II listed manor house, formal gardens, a stretch of shoreline and parkland. Occasional guided tours of the Regency-era house are offered to the public, but the biggest appeal is the walled garden, which has neatly tended borders and flowerbeds and is edged by a terrace for the park’s tearooms, open seven days a week. There’s a splash fountain in summer, walking and cycling paths to explore, a soft play area in the Courtyard Barn and a plant centre, while segway tours of the estate are available in summer."
"These fantastic gardens have award-winning displays of flowers and also attractions for all of the family, you can access the park from Christchurch Road or directly from the beach. The whole family can enjoy battling it out playing on the 18 hole mini golf course, there is a children’s play area, with swings, see-saw, slides and water play feature, children’s nature trails, multi-use games area and you can hop on the Bournemouth Land Train."
"Quieter than the Lower Gardens, the Central and Upper Gardens trace the course of the Bourne back from the centre of the town to a small body of water called the Coy Pond. By the river there’s a paved greenway that you can follow to the Poole suburb of Branksome, and either turn around and make the return journey or catch the train for a single stop back to Bournemouth. The Central Gardens are more manicured, with heather beds, rose borders, a rhododendron walk and a pergola put up in 1990 to celebrate the Borough of Bournemouth’s centenary."
"Once you’ve visited the Lower Gardens and the Central Gardens, why not visit the Upper Gardens and complete the full set?. These were originally laid out as a private garden in the 1860s, but they’re now open to the public. The gardens are laid out in three separate sections, including a European theme, an Asian theme and a North American theme."
"Extending from the town centre to the Coy pond, the Central Gardens are the perfect place to take a leisurely stroll and escape the bustle of the urban town. A development from the Victorian era, these gardens contain yards of history with most of the trees dating back 100 years. Play some tennis, follow the trails through the Rhododendron walk, leave the kids to play in the playground and visit the rose bordered war memorial."

"Redhill Park has a large field, perfect for ball games, plus paths, a playground, tennis courts, bowling greens and a seasonal paddling pool for hot summer days."
"Good value for money for well cooked food with friendly staff on hand to help with high chairs etc. Sad it's closing for the winter next week, but we will be back in the spring"

"You are invited to go on a culinary journey through the Italian island of Sardinia. Using authentic ingredients from the island, you can expect to find extensive menu choices. Choose from dishes such as tagliatelle al ragu, or pollo alla contadina."
