"For our vegetarian and vegan guests, the award-winning Green Rocket is a fantastic choice. Choose from a selection of meat-free meals, set in a warm and informal setting. Make sure to visit for a delicious breakfast, lunch and coffee."
"Since Green Rocket landed in 2013, this veggie venture has gone from strength to strength. Now open 7 days a week, it’s a firm favourite on the brunch scene for locals and tourists alike. They even make their own ketchup!"
"Hidden in the Bear Pit, one of Bristol less salubrious locations, is Flow, a creative vegetarian restaurant serving locally produced and foraged ingredients. Dishes are created for sharing and include plates such as chive dumplings, whipped goats cheese, fresh peas, elderflower and fresh basil; and aubergine with sesame, pickled kohlrabi, tahini, peaches and slow cooked chard. It’s all very delicious and the candle-lit restaurant has a lovely ambience (don’t be put off by its location)."
"A plant-based Bristol restaurant, Flow takes a modern approach to eco-focused dining, showcasing stunning plates of locally-sourced and foraged ingredients. The contemporary yet casual space also has a range of seasonally-changing spirits, biodynamic wines and local brews."
"Arguably Bristol's top vegetarian restaurant, Flow might be small but it certainly is mighty. The place is only open from Wednesday to Saturday and uses unique ingredients to shape their menu, from foraged plants through to homegrown veggies."
"Based in popular Bristolian suburbs such as on Whiteladies Road in Clifton and on North Street in Bedminster, The Burger Joint does build-your-own burgers with a variety of different, fresh ingredients. Catering extensively for vegans and vegetarians, there are plenty of combinations of burger to try here - you’ll have to pop back a few times throughout your degree."
"The original independent gourmet burger restaurant in Bristol. The Burger Joint have opened their Whiteladies & Bedminster branches back up in Bristol eating in. Address: 83 Whiteladies Rd, Redland, Bristol BS8 2NT"

"Since opening at the tail end of 2013, the diminutive Aviator Bar in Redland has earned a decent reputation for the quality of its’ craft ales and hearty, unfussy food. Certainly, it’s well worth deviating from Whiteladies Road or Gloucester Road to try some of the 13 draught beers they have on offer. Their impeccable craft beer offering – think both ales and lagers, with better-known brands joined by obscure international brews – is particularly attractive."
"As you enter the newly opened Aviator Bar, you're struck by the stylish decor - the place is adorned with plane memorabilia and, though petite, it has a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The array of craft ales on offer protrude from the tiled wall behind the counter, with a brief description of the beers scrawled around the taps. They offer an eclectic choice of cask ales, craft lagers and bottled beauties from around the world."
"When it comes to a gourmet takeaway that delivers serious flavour, then most of us look to an Indian takeaway however these are usually the delivery services which need to be approached with the most caution. Few things are tastier than a great curry but get one that is below par and you could regret it for some time. Thankfully, the Almero Student Mansions team have found you the best luxury Indian takeaway in the entire city of Bristol."
"Housed in Ashton Court Mansion’s former stables, the café has recently revamped its menu to focus on organic whole food, quality teas and coffees and healthy treats for kids. It’s very dog-friendly if you’re over here walking your pup and the views back across the city outdoors are lovely."
"Ashton Court is a huge country estate in the heart of the city, boasting huge green grass surroundings. The building is steeped in history and was even used as a military hospital in the first World War."
"One of the most amazing historic sites in Europe, the Roman Baths, situated in the heart of Bath, offers a glimpse into 2000 years of history. The city’s thermal springs rise to fill with natural, mineral-rich hot water. Run by the Heritage Services section of Bath & North East Somerset Council, the Roman Baths remain one of the most well-preserved religious spas of the ancient world."
"Art And Culture, History Museum, Water Body, Historical Site. Rainwater from the nearby Mendip Hills heated up deep in the earth rises to this outlet at a rate of over a million litres every day. The Celts found it first, and built a shrine to Sulis here, but it was the Romans who brought style to the place."
"A favourite on the UK tourist’s itinerary and frequented for over 2,000 years, The Roman Baths is home to England’s only natural hot spring. Explore Bath as ‘Aquae Sulis’ and admire the remarkable collection of Roman artefacts, relating to possibly the largest and best-preserved Roman bath outside of Rome."
"At the Pipal Tree, our menu is split into two; one being traditional authentic Punjabi dishes coming from North of India, and the other side being 'Fusion'. Enjoy a unique experience from both sides of the menu!. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinnerDress code: Casual"
"Sat in Bristol’s harbourside, just off of the busy and metropolitan Union Street, Glassboat lies moored in the River Avon. The boat itself is ornately furnished, with dark wooden tables and decking, crisp white table cloths and brass furnishings on the bar. The food served is typical brasserie fare, with grilled and roasted meats, fish, and vegetable being the dish of the day."
"The whole concept of Glassboat is pretty romantic: this restaurant, set on a boat moored on the river, offers a lovely ambience. Don’t worry, it’s well-anchored too, so there’s no chance of losing your dinner!. Book here for sophisticated French food with some great wine choices, accompanied with candlelight and beautiful views over the water."
"There aren't many more romantic places to eat than a floating restaurant. If you visit the Glassboat Restaurant, you can enjoy excellent food, with a great view of the river too - definitely an evening to remember. http://www.glassboat.co.uk/"
"Any sushi enthusiast will gravitate to Noa, one of the best restaurants in Clifton to enjoy washoku (traditional Japanese dishes) in a bright and vibrant environment. Noa Japanese Restaurant and Bar brings contemporary Japanese cuisine and culture to Bristol, served in its cozy Manga lounge or the Gojira dining area and cocktail bar. Noah’s menu caters for sushi, sashimi and noodle lovers, and they also offer ‘J-style’ tapas, an innovative twist to traditional Japanese cuisine."
"One review said: “I went to Noa for a casual meal with friends and it really didn't disappoint. There was a calm and relaxed atmosphere on arrival, and the staff made us feel really welcome, and had plenty of recommendations for the best things to order."
"Bath Sushi Bath’s smallest sushi bar and is slightly off the beaten track outside the city centre, but don’t let that put you off in any way. The decor is modern and it feels closer to a cafe than a restaurant making it perfect for lunch or relaxed dinner. Bath Sushi has an array of Japanese alcoholic drinks including Sapporo, Tsing Tao, Kirin, Asahi and traditional Sake."
