"Southend’s premier luxury hotel embodies coastal cool, bedecked in sandy colours and subtle gold accents. A selection of treatment rooms downstairs offer total relaxation using a range of Elemis products, and the AA rosette restaurant serves up a great lunch or afternoon tea, overlooking the water. For dinner there’s a selection of fresh seafood (what else) alongside free-range meats and local produce of an excellent quality."
"The Roslin is well known for its top-quality restaurant fare; if you’re looking to treat yourself or a loved one, you’ve come to the right place!. There are two outdoor dining areas on offer: the veranda or the garden terrace. The veranda serves up more traditional food with plenty of fish on the menu, while the garden terrace offers small plates, a variety of main courses and a small Asian menu."
"09/06/2021: Perfect from start to finish - that's the best (and most accurate way) to describe our tea.We like the Roslin, it's Southend's best hotel, and has the perfect location for afternoon tea. Having said that, the food, view and service are amazing. If you want a to celebrate a special occasion, or just a nice afternoon out, then this is "spot on"
"Healthy eating is made effortless at the kooky Squeeze Cafe, whipping up powerful fruit smoothies (Bee Pollen and Milk Thistle come highly recommended) and colourful superfoods. Moroccan sharing plates, towering burgers and classic breakfast dishes draw a young crowd craving cleansing brunches and fruit juices to soothe a hangover, but the crowds flood in through to the evening. A surprisingly long list of craft beers, fruit ciders, wines and spirits is available until 11.30pm, so there’s really no need to move on when dinner’s finished."
