"Located directly next to the train station Porthminster is another long sandy beach. However, it is quite different to Porthmeor being around the corner and far more sheltered. With a backdrop of lawns and a steep wooded slope to which elegenat Victorian villas cling Porthminster has a civilised air to it."

"Atmosphere was good, food good but the menu felt a little confused?. On one hand there were Asian choices but then also steak, and only 2 vegetarian options (And one of these was a pasta with tomato choice!) One particular set of offerings was a "bento box." Do customers come to a restaurant for a 'box' of food rather than a plate?. The food was good when it came out but I think the menu lacks focus."
