"Previously a bookshop, this relaxing atmosphere has not been lost. Along one of the walls inside, there is still a full bookcase. Grab a hand-pumped craft beer which is sourced from a range of brewers, from one of the kegs, or even the display fridge with ‘bag-in-the-box’ ciders."
"Woodies Brasserie & Bar “takes a time honoured tradition of hospitality, a sense of history and a young dynamic team to create a restaurant and cocktail bar that’s inviting, irresistible and even fiercely romantic. A venue keeping something different alive in Chichester, a unique experience. For a long time now brunch has been the preferred, if not somewhat revered weekend meal for Londoners."
"The Highfield Campus bar is popular for more calm, laidback night out which makes it excellent for meeting new people and socialising. It’s always difficult to find somewhere to sit (a testament to its popularity), so you end up sitting next to complete strangers and talking to them all night. Karaoke on a Thursday has an amazing environment, everyone singing along, drinks in hand before stumbling the conveniently short walk back to Portswood and the various Freshers accommodations."
"If you are after some retail therapy, visit the shopping centre Westquay, filled with over 90 major stores, including John Lewis and Partners, M&S, Hollister and Zara. Plenty of parking means you’ll have no difficulty finding a spot and, with lots of dining opportunities to choose from, you’ll find endless options to refuel, too."
"Located at the centre of the city WestQuay is a sprawling 800,000sqft huge shopping mall. It has over 150 retail shops full off well-known brands. Opened on September 28th 2000 the mall is home to brands like Marks & Spencer, Dolce Gabbana, Zara, John Lewis and many more from the fashion industry."
"ft. accommodating 130 shops, boutiques, and department stores from M&S to Zara. Close to the docks it has a dedicated multi-storey car park on Harbour Parade."
"Artisan Cafe serving British and European foods including artisan bread sandwiches, baguettes, focaccia, panini with various fillings and cater for vegetarian, vegan and other dietary requirements. Homemade pastries and cakes, teas, coffees and cold drinks. Open Mon to Sat 9.30am – 5pm"
"02/05/2021: Not much to do in Brockenhurst bar passing through, stock up on groceries / food (and also see the Ford) but this bakery is worth the visit- tasty baked breakfast goods, sausage rolls & doughnuts amongst range of other food. 25/01/2021: It surprises me that in 2021 disability discrimination is still a thing, however the young lady serving today wasn't shy when it came to displaying some of the most archaic and ignorant behaviour I've witnessed in a long time.To cut a long story short I suffer with a severe respiratory disease which I recently underwent surgery for, this makes what should be a simple task like breathing not so easy and hence I am legally exempt from wearing a mask. To tell someone you have a disability is one thing, but to then be humiliated and treated like a liar is an absolute disgrace and you should be ashamed as a business."
